Using the Trash Manager in Joomla

This tutorial will show you how to use the trash manager in Joomla

Deleted articles are sent to the trash manager where you can either delete them completely or restore them

First let’s see how to delete an article

1) Go to Content

2) Then click Article Manager

3) Click the checkboxes next to the articles you want to delete

4) Then click Trash

Now go to the Trash Manager

6) Then Article Trash

7) To restore an article, select the box

8) Click Restore

The restored articles have now returned to their original places but are unpublished

Let’s delete the remaining article below

11) Click Delete

The article has now been permanently deleted from the database and cannot be recovered

Let’s see how to re-publish the article we restored earlier

13) Go to Content

15) Select the restored article
