Data loss is the single biggest issue a system administrator must plan for. Incredible uptimes and availability, fully hardened and secured servers are soon forgotten in the light of corrupted, unusable or lost data after a zero day exploit.  This being a simple fact, it is mind boggling how many dedicated server offerings do not come with a comprehensive backup and restoration facility.
